Overview
Peaceful vacation days are ahead at Beach Blessings, a welcoming 9-bedroom oceanfront in the heart of Duck. Outstanding ocean views, spacious rooms, and extensive amenities make this home a relaxing retreat to gather with friends and family. Wonderful outdoor features such as open and covered decks, a spacious pool area with hot tub and cabana bar, and a dune-top deck allow you to enjoy fresh ocean air from many areas in the home. An oceanview great room, rec room with foosball/pool table, media room, elevator, and screened-in porch round out the indoor amenities.
An additional highlight of Beach Blessings is wheelchair accessibility: the dune-top deck does not require stairs to access, there is a ramp leading to the beach, the ground floor king offers special access amenities, and exit doors have ramps where necessary (read more below). Located in the beloved community of Four Seasons, this beach retreat has unparalleled access to the shops, dining, and activities of Duck Village, as well as community amenities including indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, playground, walking and bike paths, volleyball and basketball courts, and clubhouse with fitness center. Updates for 2025: Pool area remodel, including the addition of three Blaze outdoor appliances to the bar: grill, griddle, and pizza oven. A heavy-duty cantilever umbrella added to pool area.
Golf: Guests of this home can enjoy discounted green fees at Kilmarlic Golf Club, a Tom Steele designed course in Powell's Point. Enjoy exclusive K Club benefits compliments of the homeowner, including discounted green fees (reserve tee times in advance), and reduced costs for Wild Horse Tours, Kitty Hawk Kites adventures, and more. Special Access Amenities: The ground floor king has a bath with roll-under sink, low-barrier shower, shower seat, and grab bars. This room also has a separate entrance directly to the driveway for ease of access. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant.
Pool: Option to heat for additional fee. Pool heated by propane. Max pool temp is 85 degrees.
Community Note: Community tennis and pickleball are available for guests. Please note that vehicles must be parked in the driveway of the home, on-street parking is not available. Trailers, boats, and mobile homes can't be parked in Four Seasons unless they are enclosed in a home's carport/garage. Only licensed drivers can operate golf carts in the community. If you choose to rent a golf cart, register it at the community clubhouse before operating it in Four Seasons. The Town of Duck has beach equipment policies to help keep visits to the shore enjoyable and safe.

Outdoors, soak up the sunshine or lay in the shade while relaxing in the backyard, which features a private pool, hot tub, cabana bar, a trellis-covered glider swing, and two outdoor showers. Stairs lead from the pool area to the dune top deck, the most peaceful place to enjoy ocean views and sweet salt air. The dune deck can also be accessed from the mid-level deck.
Indoors, you'll find a rec room with pool table and foosball, as well as a kitchenette that includes a full size refrigerator, cook top (two burners), dishwasher, and microwave. A full bath with shower connects to the rec room, and also has a door that leads to the pool area for convenience. Bedding includes a bedroom with three pyramid bunks (twin-over-full) with a private bath, as well as a special access king bedroom with a private bath that has a roll-under sink, low-barrier shower, shower seat, and grab bars.
Best house and vacation we've ever had in Duck, and we've been coming almost every year since 1984.
You have always had a most welcoming staff, either on the phone, or in the office in the times over the years that I have stopped in.
This was our 4th trip to the Outer Banks, & Carolina Designs was far and away the best company we have dealt with. Jeff was so nice, as was the rest of the staff.
