Overview
Sit back, kick your feet up, and feel the relaxation set in at Attitude Adjustment. This colorfully decorated beach house will have you wishing you didn't have to leave! Plenty of room on the decks, spacious bedrooms throughout (all bedrooms have their own private bathroom), and an open concept for the great room and dining area will give you and your group space to spread out but still come together and enjoy your time spent on the Outer Banks. Attitude Adjustment is only a short walk to the beach for a day full of all that the ocean has to offer. Want to avoid walking to the beach? No worries! This house has endless outdoor entertainment options - jump in the saltwater pool (option to heat), relax in the hot tub, play a game of volleyball, hang out by the cabana bar, and you even have a fish cleaning station for your catch of the day. For the early riser, catch the sunrise glow of the sky over the ocean from the top floor deck.
Updates for 2025: Top floor king bathrooms renovated, new furniture and rug in great room, poolside half bath renovated, picnic table added to pool area.
Updates for 2024: New luxury laminate flooring in the great room, rec room, bedrooms, and hallway, icemaker added to kitchen, 75" TV added to great room, new second floor deck boards and railings.
Pool: Saltwater pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max. pool temperature is 80 degrees.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Golf: Guests of this home can enjoy discounted green fees at Kilmarlic Golf Club, a Tom Steele designed course in Powell's Point. Enjoy exclusive K Club benefits compliments of the homeowner, including discounted green fees (reserve tee times in advance), and reduced costs for Wild Horse Tours, Kitty Hawk Kites adventures, and more. Neighborhood & Community: Sea Oats Park offers a playground, soccer field, basketball court, and picnic area. The Soundview Park on N. Dogwood Trail provides panoramic water views, a children's playground, a kayak launch, and more that makes it a great spot for a picnic or family outing. All of our Southern Shores homeowners are members of the SSCA Tennis Club, so you will receive an access code to the Hillcrest Tennis Courts, located just past the corner of Hillcrest Drive and Sea Oats Trail. Please note that vehicles must display a SSCA guest parking pass on the dashboard in community parking areas.

Escape to the backyard to relax your body and mind as you slip into the hot tub. Float around, or even spark up a game of marco polo in the saltwater pool. Ready for some friendly competition? Grab a few people and start a volleyball game in the backyard sand volleyball area. Alongside the pool is an outdoor cabana bar with a sink and a half bath. The two outdoor showers in the dry entry make showering off the sand and saltwater from the beach a breeze! If you decide to go fishing, you can clean what you catch when you return to the house at the convenient fish cleaning station by the showers. With all of this right in the backyard and the beach only a short walk down the street, you're bound to spend your time soaking up the sun, laughing through the day, and leaving with memories that will last a lifetime.
