Overview
Arrive, unpack, and shift into vacation mode at Transcendence, a lavish 12-bedroom oceanfront estate in Southern Shores. Distinctive in design and exclusive in size (it is one of the largest rentals between Kill Devil Hills and Corolla in terms of bedroom count). Transcendence will be a beautiful home base for a truly special and unique beach vacation. Vintage-inspired design includes modern decor and upscale amenities, while maintaining distinct classic Outer Banks architectural elements such as a flat-top roof.
Indoors and out, Transcendence is a stunner. An expansive outdoor oasis incorporates a sunny private pool area, as well as a large covered terrace - because the best place to spend time when on vacation is outside! There is a spacious lawn, private dune top deck, ample covered space with tables and lounges, and a built-in outdoor bar.
Highlights of the interior of Transcendence include sweeping ocean views, an elevator, rec room with arcade games and pool table, an indoor bar, theater room, and twelve bedrooms (10 kings, 2 king-over-king bunksets) - an exciting feature of this home is that every single room has a private bath and deck access!
Located in town of Southern Shores, this community is popular among vacationers because of its proximity to the Wright Memorial Bridge, meaning you won't have to fight traffic to the northern beaches during high season. Two major grocery stores are about a mile away, and a fro-yo shop, seafood restaurant, pizza parlor, boutiques, and an escape room are located nearby at the Southern Shores Crossing plaza. A short drive north brings you to the quaint village of Duck.

Pool: Heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
Neighborhood & Community: Sea Oats Park offers a playground, soccer field, basketball court, and picnic area. The Soundview Park on N. Dogwood Trail provides panoramic water views, a children's playground, a kayak launch, and more that makes it a great spot for a picnic or family outing. All of our Southern Shores homeowners are members of the SSCA Tennis Club, so you will receive an access code to the Hillcrest Tennis Courts, located just past the corner of Hillcrest Drive and Sea Oats Trail. Please note that vehicles must display a SSCA guest parking pass on the dashboard in community parking areas.
