This beachfront estate has a soothing color palette, comfortable furnishings, and ample entertainment options. Offering nine bedrooms, a private pool, a hot tub with ocean views, and so much more, a vacation at Barefeet Retreat will be one to reflect on for years to come. A sundeck on the top floor suggests the ideal spot to sit and enjoy the sun coming up or watch for dolphins playing along the horizon. This South Nags Head location features grand views of the Atlantic Ocean and is conveniently located near fine dining, casual eateries, shopping, and recreational opportunities.

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
2027 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.
This home is located in an area that will receive beach nourishment in 2026 to widen the beach. Learn more about beach nourishment. All beach nourishment information is subject to change. **If the beach directly in front of your home is being actively nourished during your stay, this homeowner has agreed to compensate you for a portion of your vacation.

The ground level opens to a recreation room with hardwood floors, a pool table, and a wet bar with a sink, tabletop icemaker, and full-sized refrigerator. This space includes a media area with comfortable sofa seating and a flatscreen TV. Ground level sleeping accommodations include a king bedroom with a private bath, a bedroom with a pyramid bunk and a twin bunk, and a bedroom with two twin bunks. All three bedrooms have flatscreen TVs. A full hallway bathroom is across the hall from the bunk rooms and is easily accessible to those in the rec room. Laundry facilities are centrally located. Doors lead to a fenced oceanfront pool for refreshing swims and poolside lounging during your stay. A private beach walkway over the dune behind the home leads to inviting beaches to sunbathe, beachcomb, or romp in the rolling surf. A basketball hoop in the driveway offers competitive fun for all age groups (bring your own basketball). Amenities are completed with two outdoor showers, a cabana half bath, and a gas grill to prepare a tasty meal for the group.
