Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
Community Note: The Town of Duck has beach equipment policies to help keep visits to the shore enjoyable and safe.
Path to Beach: Due to shifting ocean currents and wind, sand accumulation can cover the beach walkway.

The ground level opens to a recreation room featuring shimmering hardwood floors, a pool table, 14-foot shuffleboard table, mounted flatscreen, pub table and stools, and a kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator (icemaker in freezer), microwave, and dishwasher. Next door, screen a movie in the media room with a large TV, plush wraparound sofa and ottomans. A half bathroom is centrally located. Rec room doors open to a covered patio with outdoor shower, half cabana bath and tiki bar and beyond to a host of amenities set to a backdrop of sweeping ocean views. Swim in the refreshing private pool, lounge poolside or relax in the soothing hot tub under star filled coastal skies. Sand and surf are steps away and offer hours of relaxation and recreation throughout your stay. Rent ocean kayaks or stand-up paddle boards, take a surf lesson, splash in the rolling surf or sunbathe to the relaxing rhythm of the sea.
Please Note: Although this home does have an elevator access on the ground level, climbing the front stairs is required to initially enter the home and use the keyless keypad. At that point the ground floor elevator entrance can be unlocked.
