Keep the emphasis on family during your next Outer Banks vacation by reserving The Chel-Sea, a charming beach cottage that truly welcomes children. This home features a kid's area with a table for games and puzzles. If traveling with four-legged family members, you will find a dog crate, leashes, bowls, and toys. Located in the award winning town of Duck, known for family friendly events, The Chel-Sea is sure to please every age group in your traveling party. Situated mid-way between the beach and the multi-use pathway that leads into Duck, enjoy leisurely strolls in either direction for good times and adventures. Duck's Town Park hosts seasonal events that are great for the whole family!
Updates for 2025: New great room furniture, new refrigerator in kitchen, new outdoor furniture on top deck.
Updates for 2024: One of the two first floor queen bedrooms was upgraded to a king bed.
Community Note: The Town of Duck has beach equipment policies to help keep visits to the shore enjoyable and safe.
Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.

The ground level is comprised of a large suite with a private bath that is furnished with a king size bed, chairs, TV, and small refrigerator. Laundry facilities are centrally located. Doors open to a sparkling private pool for hours of fun in the sun, splashing in refreshing waters, and sunning poolside under blue skies. Pool toys are on site for the young at heart. A gas grill is available for BBQs and a bubbling hot tub allows for leisurely soaks before bedtime.
