Overview
Located in Whalehead, Casa Tua (translates to your house) offers your vacation group three levels and over 6,000 square feet of indoor living space. With gathering areas on each floor, twelve bedrooms with private baths, a large private pool area, and four levels of patio and deck space (including a sundeck and a rooftop deck), Casa Tua will be your choice of vacation home for years to come. The beach is easily accessible from a sidewalk that runs along Dolphin Street to the community beach access. Views of the ocean can be enjoyed from the rooftop deck that sits as high as the house for incredible 360-degree views of the area around you. Its thoughtful layout and top-notch amenities offer both comfort and style, making it the perfect retreat after a day spent exploring all that the Outer Banks has to offer.
A prime Whalehead location means you'll be less than half a mile from the Monterey Plaza, which includes a Food Lion, a local bagel shop, a brewery, and a few local eateries to enjoy! Across the street is the Tim Buck II Shopping Village that offers restuarants, shops, boutiques, and more!
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Special Access Amenities: A first floor king bathroom has a roll-under sink and a shower with a shower seat and grab bars. This property has an elevator that travels to all levels. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant. Contact our office for additional information.
Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.

Ground floor entertainment includes a rec room with a pool table, air hockey, an arcade machine, a Smart TV, and a bar area with a sink, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Adjacent to the rec room is a home theater with tiered seating, a large screen for your favorite movies and shows, and an Xbox.
Sliding glass doors from the rec room open to the pool area that boasts a 28' x 14' private pool that can be heated for an additional fee. Added amenities to make your days spent lounging by the pool even better are a large poolside patio with seating, a cabana with a sink, a hot tub positioned under a pergola, two outdoor showers, outdoor speakers, a poolside fire pit, cornhole, and a grill area with two grills. Needless to say, you don't have to leave home to experience a fun-filled vacation!
Bedding on this level includes two king bedrooms, each with private baths with walk-in showers, the east king bedroom has a sliding glass door that leads to the poolside patio. There are two bunk rooms located on the opposite side of the house with a total of two pyramid bunks and four twin bunks. Both bunk rooms have private baths with shower/tubs. A laundry room is equipped with two washers, two dryers, and a standalone icemaker.
