Looking for a quiet refuge from the daily grind? Lose yourself in the easygoing yet refined ambience of Serenity, a tranquil home that puts your comfort first. Curl up in the ship's watch to enjoy the panorama of ocean and dunes, including an unobstructed view of the Wright Brothers Monument, or perhaps enjoy a little quiet contemplation of the sea from your private oceanfront dune top gazebo, lulled by the sound of the waves. With the ocean at your doorstep, there are endless opportunities to fly a kite, try your hand at stand up paddle-boarding, or splash in the waves. Experience the thoughtfully landscaped pool area, just over the dunes from the crashing tide of the Atlantic, where you can relax in the lounge chairs under the summer sun. Soak in the hot tub as you enjoy outdoor tunes, provided by auxiliary speakers on the deck and pool area. Music and movies are available inside as well, with two Netflix-capable Blu-ray players and a rec room with large-screen TV with surround sound. An all-in-one computer is also available for guest use. The open floor plan of the sun-kissed great room is a wonderful place to gather and enjoy a group meal. Finally, this home's central location means the shops, sights and eateries of Kill Devil Hills await your pleasure, once you've achieved Serenity.
Please Note: The fireplace in the great room is not available for guest use.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.

Two of the ten DVD players in this home are Blu-ray players. Bedroom options include one queen with a private bath, and two rooms that share a full hall bathroom: one furnished with two twin bunks and another with two twin beds. Outdoors, enjoy a private pool area with an outdoor speaker system and hot tub, two outdoor showers (one enclosed and one at the gate to the private beach walkway with covered dune top gazebo), and easy access to the shoreline.
