Overview
Time stands still at Sea Life, where open, golden dunes overlooking acres of undeveloped government land are untouched from ocean to sound. Since this home is next to the Army Corps of Engineers expansive and undeveloped property, there are no homes to the north, so views are uninterrupted and a feeling of seclusion is offered. An additional bonus is that the beaches to the north of the Sandy Ridge community are virtually empty, so you can enjoy a quiet stroll to the Duck Research Pier and stretch out in the sand on a sunny day. Sea Life was designed to capture spellbinding ocean and sound views with the utmost privacy from every room, even the sunken living room with floor-to-ceiling windows. The sunroom provides a space for quiet contemplation. Enjoy the media room and den upstairs, with stunning views over the Duck Pier, a card table, wet bar, and comfortable lounge area with flat screen TV. This very special home is yours to enjoy now, yours to remember always, in Duck's popular Sandy Ridge community. It is a short bike ride or walk to the center of Duck for dining, shopping and seasonal activities, and the beach access is just at the end of a quiet street.
Updates for 2024: All new king and queen mattresses. The queen on the top floor was upgraded to a king.
Community Note: The Town of Duck has beach equipment policies to help keep visits to the shore enjoyable and safe.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Pool: Heated by propane. Max pool temp is 85 degrees.
Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2026 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2026 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.

A dining room is adjacent to the kitchen, which is well stocked and offers a Keurig, crockpot, and additional seating at the bar. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee in the sunroom. Two bedrooms are located downstairs, one queen with a shared bath, and a second with a twin and a queen bed.
