    What's happening this summer on the Outer Banks!

    Beach days aren’t the only reason the Outer Banks is an incredible place to enjoy the summer season; there is a wide array of exciting events and celebrations to participate in and enjoy as well! Throughout the season, you will find a wide variety of events and celebrations, from Fourth of July festivities featuring parades, fireworks, and entertainment to the beauty of the Wright Kite Festival as colors fill the skies above. Summer events on the OBX are a reason on their own to come for a visit!

    Whether you are staying in Corolla, Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, or Nags Head, there are exciting nearby events to enjoy! If you are a theatre lover, the outdoor performance of The Lost Colony is sure to please. If you are a history buff and/or an aviation fanatic, National Aviation Day is a must, as it celebrates the accomplishments of the Wright Brothers and all that has come from their incredible work. If you love fishing, running, food, music, and even Jeeps or pirates, you’re sure to be smiling ear to ear as you explore the fun and excitement happening at the events here on the Outer Banks this summer.
