Rest assured, a vacation at A Wave From It All will have you feeling relaxed and refreshed from the moment you step inside. Situated on a large lot in South Nags Head, this nine bedroom, ten bath (+ an additional den with king bed) oceanfront escape is equipped with amenities to make your stay memorable. It aims to provide you and your family with a unique vacation experience. The sleek yet welcoming decor has been professionally curated, and the home is entirely carpetless, which helps reduce allergen levels. Enjoy movie night in the home theater, game night in the rec room with pool table, the serenity of a spacious oceanview great room and kitchen, and unparalleled access to the beach.
Outside, step into the exceptional and unique backyard oasis of A Wave From It All which features one of the largest private pools (42' x 18') and most expansive backyards in Nags Head, a covered poolside tiki bar with U-shaped seating - perfect for outdoor entertaining - a hot tub with trellis, spacious dune-top deck with built-in bench seating, and a walkway that leads directly to the shoreline. Find out why guests return to vacation in South Nags Head year after year - with limited development to the west, the beaches tend to be less crowded. You're also close to the Outer Banks Pier, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, as well as iconic sights and restaurants of northern Nags Head.
Special Access Amenities: This home has an elevator and a ramp leading to the front door. One of the middle level king bedrooms offers a special access bath with a roll-under sink and low-barrier shower. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant.
Fireplace/Firepit: The indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit feature connected to the pool are both seasonal, and only available Oct-March. Both the fireplace and fire feature use propane.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max. pool temperature is 80 degrees.
Path To Beach: Due to shifting ocean currents and wind, it is not unusual for sand to cover the beach walkway and gazebo floor at this home.
Special Events Welcome: $3,500 special event fee and $3,000 refundable security deposit required for all special events. Maximum of 125 attendees, including the guests already occupying the home. Splash! The 42' x 18' private pool (one of the biggest in Nags Head!) is the best backdrop for hours of afternoon fun and is just one of the features of this home's large backyard. The whole family can play yard games before relaxing for a soak in the adjacent hot tub with an overhead trellis. Enjoy an evening meal on the patio or in the custom 12' x 16' tiki bar with U-shaped built-in seating, comfortable for a large group. The pool offers a shallow end that is great for kids and a swim-up bar ledge. In need of some shade? There is an under-house area with tables and chairs where you can enjoy being outside without being directly in the sun's rays. One of the best features of the backyard is that it's just across the dune line from the beach - accessible via a private walkway and 12' x 16' dune-top deck, where you can sit at a heightened vantage point and watch the waves roll in. Inside, the rec room offers a pool table, shuffleboard, media area, and sports bar with a refrigerator, icemaker, and microwave. After playing pool, kick back in the home theater room to enjoy a movie on the big screen!
