Overview
Prepare to give a standing ovation for a showstopping beach vacation when you reserve Villa Rosa. This oceanfront retreat offers a prime location, comfortable furnishings, and premium amenities, including a private bath in each bedroom, a private heated pool (with FREE pool heat) and beach walkway, two rec rooms, a home theater, and more. Located at Milepost 19.5 in South Nags Head, the Bodie Island Lighthouse, Tanger Outlet Center, Jennette's Pier, and downtown Manteo are all within a reasonable drive.
Updates for 2026: The kitchen is being renovated with a new open concept design and all new appliances. New bedroom furniture and bedding in the middle floor king bedrooms. Please note that the two oceanfront king beds are changing to queen beds. New photos to come.
Updates for 2025: The ground floor rec room kitchenette was expanded to include a bar with bar seating and a new standalone wine & beverage refrigerator. The existing dishwasher and standalone icemaker were replaced. New flooring in ground floor rec room. New furniture in the ground floor bedrooms and the second floor king bedroom. Bar ledge added to poolside cabana.
Updates for 2024: New ceiling fans in all bedrooms, a new sectional and electric fireplace in the great room, and the pool area renovated with a large poolside cabana and new high top outdoor furniture.
Seasonal Cabana Services: Service dates for the 2026 season are 05/03/26 - 09/20/26. Service dates for the 2027 season are 05/02/2027 - 09/19/2027. This home receives beachside cabana & beach chair set-up services during your stay. This complimentary service includes one 10x10 cabana tent and six beach chairs. Set-up hours are 10am to 5pm daily (except check-in/check-out day), weather permitting. This service is not available for partial-week stays and is subject to local ordinances. Service provided by Farmdog Beach Services. Additional add-on services and other rentals are available upon request for an additional charge.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max. pool temperature is 80 degrees.
TVs: All the TVs have cable and streaming capability.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Golf: Guests of this home can enjoy discounted green fees at Kilmarlic Golf Club, a Tom Steele designed course in Powell's Point. Enjoy exclusive K Club benefits compliments of the homeowner, including discounted green fees (reserve tee times in advance), and reduced costs for Wild Horse Tours, Kitty Hawk Kites adventures, and more. Special Access Amenities: This home offers a ramp to the ground floor entrance, as well as an elevator that travels to all levels. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant.

The ground level features a recreation room with a pool table, a mounted TV, a drink ledge with seating, and a kitchenette with a sink, full-sized refrigerator, standalone icemaker, dishwasher, and a wine & beverage refrigerator. Guests will find charming sleeping options on the ground floor, including one king bedroom with a flat screen TV and private bathroom and two queen bedrooms with TVs and private baths. A central laundry room is equipped with two washer and dryer units and a half bath is accessible from the rec room. A ramp allows for ease of access to and from the home.
Sliding glass doors lead to outdoor amenities, including a private pool with a wet deck and an inset kiddie pool, a large poolside cabana with granite bar ledge and outdoor seating, many poolside loungers, two outdoor showers, and a cabana half bath. The private walkway leads to a dune top deck with seating and beyond to beautiful sandy beaches and the sparkling panorama of the mighty Atlantic. A gas grill allows for casual BBQs, a small putting green in the front yard keeps guests entertained, and outdoor amenities are completed with a hot tub for relaxing soaks to the rhythmic surf.
