Overview
Gather your treasured flock of family and friends to vacation together at Fin and Feather, a lovely seaside retreat in South Nags Head with ocean and sound views, a delightful list of amenities, and eight bedrooms with private baths. Your group will appreciate the private pool and hot tub, elevator, multi-level covered and open decks, two rec rooms, and more. The Outer Banks Fishing Pier is located directly across the street where you can fish, walk the pier to see the catch of the day, or enjoy a draft beer at Fish Heads Bar & Grill while enjoying unbeatable ocean views and seasonal live music. Views to the west of this home include waterfowl flying over the marshes and tranquil sound waters.
Updates for 2025: All decking upgraded to composite decking; new pool lounge chairs; all new kitchenware; new washer & dryer sets; new bedding and furniture in king and queen bedrooms; new furniture in bunk bedrooms.
Updates for 2024: All new TVs, bedding, drapes, and blinds; new couches and chairs in the great room; new dining room tables; new game table and chairs in the first floor rec room; armchairs added to the queen bedroom and the southwest king bedroom on the first floor; all new chairs on the ground level; and new Nest thermostats.

Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.

Sleeping options on the ground level include two kings with flatscreen TVs and private baths. One has access to the front covered deck and the second has direct access to the rear covered deck. A queen bedroom has a flat screen TV, private bath, and access to the front covered deck. A fourth suite with private bath is furnished with a pyramid bunk, a twin bed, a flatscreen TV, and has access to the rear covered deck. Laundry facilities with one washer and dryer unit are conveniently located. The highlight of entertainment is the central recreation room outfitted with a pool table, a table with four chairs (great for games), a wet bar with a sink, a small beverage fridge, a microwave, and an icemaker, as well as a drink ledge with seating for four, and a TV with two armchairs nearby.
Doors open to outdoor amenities that include a sparkling private pool (FREE pool heat provided by the homeowner), and a wet deck for lounge chairs. The pool deck is lined with seating and lounging chairs to sunbathe under clear coastal skies. For those traveling with pets, there is a large fenced-in yard with a dog house. Daily beach trips are easy from the nearby beach access, and as evenings set guests can retreat to the bubbling hot tub for leisurely soaks before retiring.
