Bright and breezy vacation days are ahead at The Lightship, a stylish and well-appointed 9-bedroom oceanfront at Milepost 10 in Nags Head. Plan your next escape to this waterfront home, which features a host of popular amenities, stunning views of the Atlantic, and a stellar location with easy access to delicious restaurants, fishing piers, Jockey's Ridge State Park, and so much more. A refreshing private pool area features a poolside cabana and hot tub, and is just over the dune line from the beach, accessible by your very own walkway with dune-top deck - the perfect place to watch the waves roll in and listen to the relaxing sounds of the sea. Inside, features include an elevator, rec room with pool table and arcade game, theater, and oceanview great room, and nine bedrooms with en suite baths. The Lightship is elegantly designed with coastal contemporary decor, providing a restful and relaxing backdrop for your next visit to the Outer Banks.
Updates for 2024: New rug in the dining room.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
Path to Beach: Due to shifting ocean currents and wind, sand accumulation can cover the beach walkway and dune-top deck.
2027 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.

When you arrive upstairs, you will be captivated by the wall of windows that frame beautiful ocean views. Sliding glass doors lead to the oceanview deck, where you can enjoy the breeze in an Adirondack chair or have an al fresco meal on the outdoor dining table. The great room features a sectional situated around a flat screen TV and seasonal gas fireplace. The dining table seats 12, and there are an additional six bar stools located around the kitchen island. The kitchen features double ovens, two dishwashers, gas range, a Keurig, and farmhouse sink. The two kings on this level each have have private baths with double vanities and custom tile showers.
