Overview
Experience luxurious vacation living at Moon Bay, an oceanfront beauty that combines classic charm with modern amenities to recapture the ambience of Old Nags Head. Enjoy captivating ocean views and onshore breezes from an estate that is graciously designed and furnished with your comfort in mind. This design is ideal for large families, offers an elevator for ease of access and provides some amenities for those with special needs. Located at Milepost 11.5, this home is walking distance to Jockey's Ridge State Park, and is also close to shops, grocery stores, and activities.
Updates for 2024: All of the carpeting was replaced with new flooring.
Special Access Amenities: A mid-level king has a bathroom with low-barrier shower, seat, and grab bar. There are steps that lead to the pool area, which is not accessible by wheelchair. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compoliant. Contact our office for more details.
Pool: Heated with propane. Max pool temp is 85 degrees.
TVs: All the TVs are Roku TVs with streaming capability and there is cable access via the Spectrum app.
Path to Beach: Due to shifting ocean currents and wind, it is normal for sand to accumulate at the bottom of this home's beach steps.

Hours of fun and competition greet you in the ground level recreation room featuring a regulation size pool table, wall mounted HDTV, surround sound, Sony PlayStation and a sports bar with sink, under counter refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and bar seating for four. Bedding options include a queen bedroom with flat screen TV and private bath and two bedrooms that are each furnished with two twin bunksets, provide TVs and share a central full bathroom.
Doors lead from the rec room to a vast array of outdoor amenities for your use and enjoyment. An oceanfront pool provides for invigorating swims and sunbathing while enjoying refreshing coastal breezes, and the hot tub allows for leisurely soaks under the star filled sky. A private walkway leads to the sandy seashore and the sheltered dune-top gazebo overlooks beach activities. The oceanfront decks will become a favorite hangout to enjoy ocean views and breezes, and this is the perfect place to watch our color drenched North Carolina sunrises as the sun peeks over the Atlantic.
