Whether you're watching the sun rise over the ocean from the great room, soaking in one of the two poolside hot tubs, or enjoying the sound of waves rolling in from the dunetop gazebo, you'll appreciate the calming quality of being so close to the water's edge. A unique feature of this property is the wall of accordion-style retractable doors in the great room, which open to expose stunning views over the horizon. Additional highlights include an elevator, theater, rec room with pool table and shuffleboard, private pool with wet deck and cabana, and 3 kitchenettes with full refrigerators on every level - an added convenience for a home of this size. A central location at Milepost 7 in Kill Devil Hills provides proximity to multiple grocery stores and restaurants, as well as attractions such as the Wright Brothers Memorial. Bodie Island Lighthouse, Jennette's Pier, and Jockey's Ridge are a short drive!
Updates for 2024: New flooring in the ground floor hall, laundry room, and rec room, all new mattresses and pillows, several new area rugs, new sectional and chairs in great room.
Special Events Welcome: $1,500 special event fee and $2,000 refundable security deposit required for all special events. Maximum of 50 attendees, including the guests already occupying the home. Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.

The entertainment-focused ground level includes stellar amenities, indoors and out! A rec room offers a sports bar atmosphere, featuring a pool table, 3 flat screen TVs, and a kitchenette with full side-by-side refrigerator, blender, dishwasher, and microwaves. Sliding barn doors open to the theater room, which includes a projection screen TV and various seating options: an L-shaped sofa, four cinema style seats, and bar stools. Bedding options on this level include two kings, a queen, a bedroom with two double-over-double bunks, and a fifth bedroom with a double-over-double bunk. All the bedrooms on this level have a private bath.
Outside, seek sun or shade poolside, either lounging on a chaise or sitting in the cabana, which includes an outdoor TV. The pool has a shallow wet deck and three swim up barstools that connect to a ledge in the center of the pool. A grill area, two hot tubs, sauna, outdoor showers, and private walkway to the beach with dune top gazebo round out the long list of outdoor amenities.
