Overview
This expansive retreat is situated on an extra large, seventy-five foot wide prime oceanfront lot. Beautifully furnished with upscale amenities, Dream Awhile is steps to the sparkling Atlantic, and offers a direct view of the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Ideally designed for large travelling groups, guests who reserve Dream Awhile will be treated to seven bedrooms with private baths, an open great room with memorable ocean views, a fully equipped recreation room, private home theater and abundant oceanfront outdoor amenities. Interior features include wainscoting, ceramic tile, hardwood floors and granite countertops, combining classic Carolina charm with modern amenities.
Updates for 2025: New seating, carpet, furnishings, a larger TV, and fresh paint in the theater.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.

The recreation room has a regulation size pool table, arcade machine, pub chair seating, table with four chairs, mounted flat screen TV, and counter with sink and dishwasher. The home theater is furnished with plush, tiered leather seating, extra large flat screen TV, surround sound and Playstation 2. Bedding options include one room with a pyramid bunk and trundle, and a second with two pyramid bunks, both with mounted flat screen TVs and private baths. A half bathroom and laundry facilities with full-size refrigerator is centrally located.
Doors lead to the outdoor amenities surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds. This resort-style backyard oasis offers guests a custom designed pool with wet deck (or wading pool) and waterfall, poolside furnishings, hot tub and a shaded poolside cabana. Additional amenities include surround sound speakers, outdoor foosball table, concrete cornhole boards, gas grill, picnic table, fish cleaning station, two outdoor showers, tiled steam shower, and foot shower. A commercial icemaker is located in the exterior room beside the steam shower. Covered and sun decks are well furnished with colorful deck chairs, tables and rocking chairs. A private beach walkway with dune-top gazebo allows for easy trips to and from the sandy beaches and rolling surf of the Atlantic.
