Overview
Whatever the season, good times are in bloom at The Gardenia House, a beautiful 12-bedroom oceanfront estate at Milepost 8 in Kill Devil Hills. With over 8,000 square feet of living space that incorporate twelve bedrooms and many common areas, this seaside mansion can comfortably accommodate a multi-family group. Relax by the pool, or enjoy the spectacular views of the ocean and the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Indoor entertainment choices range from billiards to a home theater. Ocean proximity of this estate is a highlight - the waves of the Atlantic are just over the dunes, accessible by a private beach walkway. Start each day with a stroll along the shore or a dip in the sea.
Pool: Pool heated by a dual natural gas heat pump. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
Special Access Amenities: A ground floor king bathroom has a roll-under sink and a shower with grab bars and seat. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant. Contact our office for additional information.
Path to Beach: Due to shifting ocean currents and wind, it is normal for sand to accumulate on this home's beach steps and walkway.
Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.

A theater offers surround sound audio and plush seating for 14. Please note that this home offers two DVR boxes. Bedding includes two king bedrooms with private baths, one of which has special access amenities. A room with two twin beds and another with two twin bunks share a full bath.
Outside amenities include a private custom pool (can be heated with additional fee), ample lounge seating, a gazebo covered kiddie pool, an outdoor speaker system, a poolside cabana with a full bath, and private beach walkway.
