Overview
Experience easy beach living in this well-appointed Kill Devil Hills oceanfront estate with sweeping views of both the ocean and the Wright Brothers Monument. Beyond The Sea features 12 richly appointed bedrooms (10 with private baths) and an extensive list of popular amenities, including a rec room with a sports bar and pool table, cinema-style theater, media loft, oceanside private pool, hot tub, putt-putt golf area, and more. A private beach walkway makes for easy trips between the home and the ocean's shore. This home's prime location is central to classic Outer Banks attractions and activities, family recreation, and a host of dining and shopping options!
Updates for 2025: Private bathrooms 4 and 5 (as numbered on the photos and floor plans) were renovated, bedrooms 6 and 9 freshly painted, new hot tub, and new gas grills.
Updates for 2024: Private bathrooms 2, 8, and 12 (as numbered on the photos and floor plans) were renovated, new furniture, ceiling fan, and picture windows in the great room, new ceiling fan in bedroom 9, and new gas grills.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Pool: Saltwater pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
Special Access Amenities: Elevator access on all levels except loft. Ground floor queen bathroom equipped with roll-under sink, shower seat and grab bars. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant. Contact our office for additional information.
Path to Beach: Due to shifting ocean currents and wind, it is not unusual for sand to cover the beach walkway.

Sleeping options on the ground level include two bedrooms that share a full bath. One is furnished with a pyramid bunk, sofa and an HDTV, and the second bedroom provides two twin bunks, one trundle and an HDTV. A charming bedroom on this level offers a queen bed, an HDTV, and a private bathroom equipped for those with special needs. The king suite has a private bath, an HDTV, and sliding door access to the front grounds. A magnificent cinema-style home theater is outfitted with a 110" projection screen, THX 7.2 surround sound, HD projector, DVD player, coffered ceilings with fiber optic tray light, and tiered seating for 14 guests. The recreation room is equipped with a billiard table, arcade game system, game table with four chairs, stool seating, two mounted HDTVs, and a sports bar with full refrigerator, icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, sink, granite countertops, and bar seating for three.
Doors open to a breezy cabana bar with a full cabana bath, two gas grills for cooking up casual meals, outdoor covered dining area, and outdoor speakers to stream music from your favorite artists. A private pool with a wet deck/baby pool provide hours of endless fun for all ages. Soak up the summer sun in cozy lounge seats under blue skies. Star gaze in the bubbling hot tub, perch on the dune-top deck or stroll to the sandy shoreline to romp in the tumbling waves. Want to take a break from the water? Try out the putt-putt golf area!
Please note: The stormwater pipe is shown in the gallery photos. The town of Kill Devil Hills recommends not swimming within 200 feet of the pipe.
