Overview
Experience easy beach living in this well-appointed Kill Devil Hills oceanfront estate with sweeping views of both the ocean and the Wright Brothers Monument. Beyond The Sea features 12 richly appointed bedrooms (10 with private baths) and an extensive list of popular amenities, including a rec room with a sports bar and pool table, cinema-style theater, media loft, oceanside private pool, hot tub, putt-putt golf area, and more. A private beach walkway makes for easy trips between the home and the ocean's shore. This home's prime location is central to classic Outer Banks attractions and activities, family recreation, and a host of dining and shopping options!
Updates for 2025: Private bathrooms 4 and 5 (as numbered on the photos and floor plans) were renovated, bedrooms 6 and 9 freshly painted, new hot tub, and new gas grills.
Updates for 2024: Private bathrooms 2, 8, and 12 (as numbered on the photos and floor plans) were renovated, new furniture, ceiling fan, and picture windows in the great room, new ceiling fan in bedroom 9, and new gas grills.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Pool: Saltwater pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
Special Access Amenities: Elevator access on all levels except loft. Ground floor queen bathroom equipped with roll-under sink, shower seat and grab bars. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant. Contact our office for additional information.
Path to Beach: Due to shifting ocean currents and wind, it is not unusual for sand to cover the beach walkway.
2027 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.

Multiple seating areas are made up of plush sofas, armchairs, and cozy area rugs arranged around a seasonal gas fireplace and a 70" HDTV. A fabulous kitchen has granite countertops, a center island, abundant storage, and casual bar seating. Appliances include two refrigerators, a beverage center, a standalone icemaker, five-burner range, double ovens, a microwave, Keurig, and two dishwashers to assist in cleaning up. Serve savory meals at three tables that seat a total of twenty-two guests. Sliding glass doors are located in the great room that open to a wide sun deck where ocean views and sea breezes are the name of the game! A half bath is centrally located.
Two spacious bedroom suites are available on this floor with a wet bar centrally located in the hallway. One suite features a king size bed, an armchair, an HDTV, a private bath, and direct access to the front covered porch. The second is furnished with a king bed, an armchair, a 50" HDTV, and offers a seasonal gas fireplace, walk-in closet, direct covered deck access, and a private bathroom with a tile shower, Jacuzzi tub, and a double vanity.
Steps leading from the great room up to a cozy loft that serves as a media den and a game room. This space is furnished with a sofa, game table with four chairs, foosball table, a desk with a chair, and a 60'' HDTV with an Xbox One game system.
