Overview
Set your course for a vacation of a lifetime by reserving Ocean Star, and experience a beachfront getaway located in the award-winning town of Duck. Beautifully maintained, this oceanfront estate is professionally decorated and landscaped and provides a long list of amenities, including a rec room, home theater, and private pool. The popular Sea Pines subdivision offers a host of amenities for guest use, including a community pool, tennis courts, and a private beach access. The Town of Duck features an array of quality eateries, boutiques, galleries, and a town park that hosts family-friendly seasonal events.
Updates for 2024: Kitchen cabinets were painted a new color, the first floor king was painted gray, new landscaping, travertine walkway to pool, and some updated rugs and furnishings.
Updates for 2023: An outdoor kitchen with built-in grill, dishwasher, sink, counter seating, lounge seating, and outdoor TV was added to the southeast ground level deck. The home now offers two gas grills in total. All of the ocean-facing east decks were redone and extended out, providing cover for the ground level deck along with a gutter system. New light fixtures were installed on the deck and the poolside pergola was painted. A new high-top bar table was added to the rec room, and a dishwasher was added to the rec room wet bar. The half bathroom off the great room was re-tiled, and this level's east windows and sliders were replaced. There is new furniture in the loft, and additional new furniture pieces throughout the home from Urban Cottage.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Community Note: The Town of Duck has beach equipment policies to help keep visits to the shore enjoyable and safe.

Special Access Amenities: Ramp entrance into home. Elevator access to all three levels. Oceanfront king on the first floor has a bathroom equipped for those with special needs with grab bars, a roll-under sink, and a roll-in shower. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant. This floor opens up to a recreation room outfitted with tile floors, a pool table, sofa seating, mounted flatscreen with electronic game connection capability and PlayStation 2, two high-top bar tables, and a kitchenette with icemaker, sink, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. Wind down with your favorite movie in the 12-seat home theater with a projection screen TV, surround sound audio, and Icebox Touch Screen Entertainment Center. A half bath is available to guests in the rec and theater rooms, and laundry facilities are centrally located. Bedding options include a delightful queen bedroom with a flatscreen TV and private bathroom; a second bedroom is furnished with two pyramid bunks, a flatscreen TV, and a private bathroom.
Doors lead from the rec room to a covered patio area that features an outdoor kitchen with a built-in gas grill, sink, dishwasher, counter with seating, lounge furniture, outdoor speakers, and a mounted outdoor TV. An outdoor shower and a second gas grill are also available. Beyond the covered patio is the fenced-in lawn and sparkling private saltwater pool with a waterfall and kiddie pool. Spend playful days in these refreshing waters or lounge poolside for a daily dose of Vitamin D. When the ocean calls your name, it's a quick stroll over the dune on a private beach walkway with a dune-top deck. As the sun sets, gather in the revitalizing hot tub to star gaze under clear coastal skies.
