The private beach access is easy to maneuver, with steps on both sides that lead up and back down the grass-covered dune. Wanting to sit with your coffee in hand and watch the waves lap against the shore, the dolphins play off in the distance, and the sun rise over the horizon? The Tuckahoe subdivision in Duck, NC, is located on the southern end of the town and isn't far from all the attractions that have people returning year after year. A paved walking path runs parallel to the road that takes you straight into the heart of Duck, making it an easy and enjoyable walk or bike ride to get into town. Be sure to make time to get out and explore the area, as Duck has some of the best shops and restaurants on the Outer Banks. A memorable way to end any vacation day is to catch the sunset from the soundfront boardwalk that runs along the Currituck Sound.
