Overview
A six-bedroom oceanfront vacation home, Shore Pleasure is thoughtfully designed and comfortably furnished, with amenities to be enjoyed inside and out. The top floor offers an open great room, kitchen, and dining area that is a wonderful spot for you and your group to start and end each of the days you have to relish in Outer Banks beachfront living. The details of this home are not to be missed, including the Brazilian cherry hardwood floors on the second level and the private bathrooms that are offered in each bedroom. The ground floor is curated for entertainment with a pool table and theater with tiered seating. A private fully fenced pool area is available to you and your group and includes poolside loungers and a hot tub. A community beach access is located at the end of the driveway and as a guest of an Ocean Sands home, you have access to the private community pool and tennis courts. You'll also enjoy close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, shops, and more.
Updates for 2024: Pool area updated with granite walkway pavers lining the edge against the fence. The two swivel chairs in the great room were reupholstered, and the rec room table was refinished.
Community Pool & Tennis: Guests of this home have access to the private Ocean Lakes Swim & Tennis Club just down the road, as well as the tennis courts located in Ocean Sands Sections D, F, and J. The Section D court is located at the corner of Marlin Way and White Whale Way. The Section F court is located at the corner of Sandfiddler Trail and Surf Song Lane. The Section J court is located at Seabird Way on the other side of the Club's pool. A stocked fishing lake is located nearby, please note that a fishing license is required to fish.
Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.

The ground floor of Shore Pleasure is the hub for entertainment and fun. Whether you're looking to watch TV or play a game of cards or billiards, the rec room has a pool table and a high-top table with seating for four. There is a kitchenette that includes a sink, a microwave, and a full-sized refrigerator which makes for the perfect spot to store snacks and drinks that you want easily accessible while hanging out downstairs or out by the pool. Adjacent to the rec room is the theater that has tiered seating and a large flatscreen TV to watch your favorite movies on! There is a bedroom with two pyramid bunks and a private bathroom on this floor. There is also access to laundry facilities on this level.
Through the rec room is a sliding door that leads out to the fully fenced private pool area. There are several poolside loungers that make hanging out by the pool as simple as it gets. Looking for a little more rest and relaxation? Slip into the bubbling hot tub and let your worries fade away. The ocean is never far away when you stay at Shore Pleasure, and the outdoor area provides an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after spending a day at the beach.
