Get ready to live the beach life in this eight-bedroom semi-oceanfront Corolla vacation home, while only being A Wave Away from the beauty of the Atlantic! No detail was overlooked when furnishing with coastal tones, hardwood and luxury vinyl plank flooring, and quartz countertops. You will be mere steps away from the nearest beach access making your days spent oceanside easier than ever. Enjoy views of the ocean from the top level deck and the sound of the waves lapping along the shore from any of the decks. Escape to the fully-fenced private pool area that includes a hot tub, poolside loungers, a tiki bar with an outdoor flatscreen TV, cornhole, and a fully enclosed outdoor shower. A crow's nest on the top of the house gives you elevated, 360-degree views of the area and is the prime spot for sunrise and sunset watching. While visiting the Outer Banks in a vacation home located in the Ocean Sands community, you have access to the community pool and tennis courts.

Pool: Heated by heat pump. Ambient air temp of 60 degrees or higher needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temp is 80 degrees.

Community Pool & Tennis: Guests of this home have access to the private Ocean Lakes Swim & Tennis Club just down the road, as well as the tennis courts located in Ocean Sands Sections D, F, and J. The Section D court is located at the corner of Marlin Way and White Whale Way. The Section F court is located at the corner of Sandfiddler Trail and Surf Song Lane. The Section J court is located at Seabird Way on the other side of the Club's pool. A stocked fishing lake is located nearby, please note that a fishing license is required to fish.
Security Cameras: This property has three cameras facing the street; one in the carport and one on each side of the house.

The ground floor offers you and your group a media room furnished with a large L-shaped sectional centered around a mounted flatscreen TV. There is a wet bar that includes a full-sized refrigerator and sink. This space makes for the perfect spot to end your days with a movie and some snacks while you stretch out and enjoy the company of who you're vacationing with. Adjacent to the media room is a full bath shared with the king bedroom on this level. There is a second bedroom with two twin beds (can be converted to a king with advanced notice) and a private bath. Laundry facilities include two stacked washer and dryer sets and are centrally located.
Making your way outside from the ground level, you enter into a fully fenced astroturfed pool area that is the heart of all things outdoor entertainment. A private pool (can be heated for an additional fee), a hot tub, a tiki bar, a mounted flatscreen TV, cornhole, and an outdoor shower are all yours to enjoy during your stay at A Wave Away. If you want to enjoy some drinks and snacks by the pool, you don't have to go back inside; simply open the sliding window by the media room wet bar and pass them through to those hanging out poolside.
