Overview

At The Ward House, you're sure to have a vacation full of memories that'll last a lifetime. Several features set this home apart! The fenced backyard has a large private pool, there is plenty of grass for yard games, the top level of the detached garage offers a separate sleeping area, gathering areas and deck space on each floor, an elevator that travels to every floor, and all of the bedrooms have an attached bath, most being private baths. This home is only a short distance (0.3 miles) from the nearest public beach access located at the end of Sea Shell Lane and a little over a mile from an access with parking just south of Yaupon Lane.

Security Camera: This property has a camera installed at the front door facing the driveway.

Garage: The ground floor of the garage is not available for guest use, except for the half bath accessible by an exterior door near the outdoor shower. There is a set of stairs on the backside of the garage that leads to the top floor. The top floor is one large room with three daybeds, three twin trundles, a sectional, a Smart TV, and a private bath with a walk-in shower.

Please Note: The great room fireplace is not available for guest use.

Special Events Welcome: $1,500 special event fee and $2,000 refundable security deposit required for all special events. Maximum of 50 attendees, including the guests already occupying the home. Are you reserving this home for a wedding or special event? Please contact our office to inform us of your plans. You will receive an addendum to the lease which will need to be signed and returned. Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2026 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2026 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.

As you enter through the front door, the rec room is straight ahead with a pool table, shuffleboard, an arcade game, a wet bar with a full-sized refrigerator and microwave, and a mounted Smart TV surrounded by sofa and armchair seating. French doors on the opposite side of the rec room lead you to the backyard that invites all of your party to take a dip in the sparkling private pool immediately. Bedding accommodations on the ground floor include a bedroom with two XL twins and direct access to a shared bath that can also be accessed via the hallway. The twin beds can be converted to a king bed with advance notice. The bathroom on the ground floor is outfitted for those that have special needs with a roll-under sink and a roll-in shower.

The backyard is likely where your vacation group is going to want to spend all their vacation days! A large private pool, measuring 15' x 30', takes centerstage and is surrounded by poolside loungers, a covered outdoor sectional and dining area, seating under a poolside pergola, and a huge grassy yard for all the outdoor fun you can hope for. An enclosed outdoor shower, grill area, and another outdoor seating area are located over by the garage. A half bath located in the garage has an exterior door across from the outdoor shower.
