Overview
A wonderful vacation begins at Carolina Waves. Custom built and professionally decorated, this sensational lake front vacation retreat is located in the popular Oceanside community of Ocean Lake in Corolla. Guests in this stylish 2,500 square foot home are treated to an expansive great room, inviting bedroom suites, a recreation lounge with wet bar, office loft, private heated saltwater pool and hot tub. After fun days at the beach, savor memorable sunsets and tranquil views of a stocked fishing lake from the exterior decks (fishing allowed with permit). Community amenities include an Olympic-size outdoor pool, children's pool, and outdoor tennis courts. This area is central to the Currituck Club Golf Course, shopping, dining and activities.
Pool: Saltwater pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
Golf: Guests of this home can enjoy discounted green fees at Kilmarlic Golf Club, a Tom Steele designed course in Powell's Point. Enjoy exclusive K Club benefits compliments of the homeowner, including discounted green fees (reserve tee times in advance), and reduced costs for Wild Horse Tours, Kitty Hawk Kites adventures, and more. Community Pool & Tennis: Guests of this home have access to the private Ocean Lakes Swim & Tennis Club just down the road, as well as the tennis courts located in Ocean Sands Sections D, F, and J. The Section D court is located at the corner of Marlin Way and White Whale Way. The Section F court is located at the corner of Sandfiddler Trail and Surf Song Lane. The Section J court is located at Seabird Way on the other side of the Club's pool. A stocked fishing lake is located nearby, please note that a fishing license is required to fish.
Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.
