Overview
From the moment you step into L3 By The Sea, you are met by three levels of graceful coastal living space with fine finishes that will make you Live, Laugh, Love. Professionally decorated in invigorating ocean blues and soothing sea greens, this upscale nearly 5,000 square foot home provides guests with a wonderful flow of stylish bedroom suites and entertainment-focused amenities, all set to the backdrop of memorable views of the Atlantic. Beach access is easy, as the community path to the beach is directly next to this home. All bedrooms have private baths and each has a mounted flat screen TV. The Ocean Lake community in Ocean Sands provides guest access to community amenities, including an Olympic-size community pool, children's pool, outdoor tennis courts, and a stocked fishing lake (fishing license required to fish). It is minutes away from the semi-private 18-hole championship golf course, The Currituck Club, designed by legendary architect Rees Jones. Ocean Lake provides easy access to grocery chains, Harris Teeter and Food Lion, local boutiques, casual and fine dining and historic and recreational opportunities.
Updates for 2024: New couches, end tables, and area rug in great room. New polywood picnic table, chairs, and a bench added to ground level deck.
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.
Special Access Amenities: This home provides ramp access and an elevator. The mid level queen has roll-under sink and low-barrier shower with shower seat and grab bars. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant. Contact our office for additional information.
Golf: Guests of this home can enjoy discounted green fees at Kilmarlic Golf Club, a Tom Steele designed course in Powell's Point. Community Pool & Tennis: Guests of this home have access to the private Ocean Lakes Swim & Tennis Club just down the road, as well as the tennis courts located in Ocean Sands Sections D, F, and J. The Section D court is located at the corner of Marlin Way and White Whale Way. The Section F court is located at the corner of Sandfiddler Trail and Surf Song Lane. The Section J court is located at Seabird Way on the other side of the Club's pool. A stocked fishing lake is located nearby, please note that a fishing license is required to fish.

The ground floor provides two private sleeping accommodations including one oceanside king suite with generous windows that overlook the pool area, a flat screen TV, and has direct deck access, and one delightful double bunk suite with private bath and flat screen TV. Enjoy the ultimate movie viewing experience in the vibrant private home theater appointed with 5 theater-style rocking seats, an extra long sofa, rear bar with seating for five, a projection screen, surround sound, Wii U, Netflix, and Yamaha network AV receiver. The recreation lounge is perfectly equipped for rousing competition and provides ceramic slate tile flooring, a wet bar with granite countertops, a sink, refrigerator, microwave, ice maker, a regulation size billiards table, shuffleboard table, and a media area with four arm chairs arranged around a 55" flat screen TV with an Xbox. A half bath and laundry facility with one stackable washer and dryer unit are available on this level.
A door leads from the recreation lounge to the outdoor amenities where the fun continues! Guests are treated to a covered deck with Trex decking and seating. The oceanfront custom heated pool includes a wet deck and a mother's bench and is surrounded by plenty of lounge chairs. Additional amenities include a hot tub, gas grill, outdoor sound system, Pandora, cornhole, ladder ball, and an open outdoor shower. Trips to and from the beach are easy with use of the community beach boardwalk located right beside this home and accessible from the fenced back yard.
