Overview
All the magic of the Outer Banks will be at your fingertips when you choose Abracadabra for your next vacation. This thoughtfully designed ten bedroom home is centrally located in the Whalehead neighborhood of Corolla, and has been tricked out with amenities to make your stay as relaxing and memorable as possible. Retreat to your very own backyard oasis which features a private pool area with hot tub, unwind in one of ten bedroom suites, host game night in the rec room (which includes a pool table, media area, and kitchenette), and enjoy additional conveniences such as an elevator, front entrance ramp, and SmartTVs throughout. With ten bedrooms - each with deck access, an en suite bath, and a TV - this home is ideal for a reunion or multi-family vacation. Plus, a prime location in Corolla means you're a short walk to the beach, and close to the Timbuck II shopping area, which includes a myriad of shops and boutiques, a grocery store, seafood market, produce stand, and delicious restaurants. Climb the Currituck Lighthouse for stunning ocean to sound views, visit the historic Whalehead Club, or drive a short distance to Carova to see the famous wild horses roam the shoreline. Conjure up a dreamy visit to the OBX with a stay at Abracadabra!
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 85 degrees.
EV Charger: A payment of approximately $0.45/kWh is required to use the onsite charger. Payment is made via a QR-code available on the charger at the house.
Special Access Amenities: This home has an elevator, and a mid level king bedroom has a roll-under sink, low barrier shower, and grab bars. Please note that none of our homes are ADA compliant.

The ground level rec room is a hub of entertainment, and features a pool table and media area with a mounted flat screen TV, and kitchenette with full refrigerator, commercial icemaker, and sink. Bedding on this level includes two kings, each with a private bath and deck access. Outside, enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub, or in the private pool which offers a shallow mother's ledge (16' x 7') -- the perfect place for kids to splash.
I have used multiple realty companies in the past and Carolina Designs has been the best when providing communications pre vacation!
I have already booked the same week for 2025! We are a group of quilters and the group really loves having all the bedrooms and private baths. The living area is terrific, too! Looking forward to next year!
This is our third year at this home. We love it!! The location is perfect and so convenient to the stores and the beach.

We love this home and have booked for next year. I have also recommended it to friends that have booked as well and love the home. :) 4th stay and the home is always spotless. We also appreciate the kitchen items you leave to get us going (dish pods, dish soap) always toilet paper in every room and soap...this doesn't happen with all rentals and it is really appreciated!! We had one of the refrigerators go out on the first day and maintenance came out on a Sunday!
I have already booked rental for 2024 for our same group! It is terrific for us that each of us has similar accommodations and the living room is large enough for us to spread out. We love this house! Looking forward to returning next year.
