Overview
A memorable vacation awaits you at Barney, a six bedroom, semi-oceanfront retreat in Southern Shores. Decorated with traditional New England touches such as cedar shake siding and a light gray metal roof, Barney offers a winning combination of style, comfort, and top-notch amenities. With nearly 5,000 square feet of finished living space, this spectacular home features an elevator (which travels all the way to the oceanview rooftop deck!), electric car charging station, home theater with tiered seating, rec room with pool table and wet bar, and home gym with a Peloton. Outdoor amenities include a private concrete pool with a sun ledge, relaxing hot tub on the rooftop deck, outdoor cabana kitchen and bar area with a 60" outdoor TV, and an enclosed outdoor shower. Each room has an en suite bath for privacy and relaxation, and the open, oceanview great room incorporates the living area, dining room, and well-equipped kitchen.
Just steps (quite literally, only a few steps) to the beach access that takes you out onto the stunning beaches of Southern Shores, the location can't be beat. Treat yourself to a vacation at Barney, and enjoy a trip to the Outer Banks that your family will never forget!

Neighborhood & Community: Sea Oats Park offers a playground, soccer field, basketball court, and picnic area. The Soundview Park on N. Dogwood Trail provides panoramic water views, a children's playground, a kayak launch, and more that makes it a great spot for a picnic or family outing. All of our Southern Shores homeowners are members of the SSCA Tennis Club, so you will receive an access code to the Hillcrest Tennis Courts, located just past the corner of Hillcrest Drive and Sea Oats Trail. Please note that vehicles must display a SSCA guest parking pass on the dashboard in community parking areas.

Spend movie night enjoying a flick in the theater room that is furnished with ten leather recliners, bar seating, and a large screen. Make your way to the rec room to play some pool, or fix a drink and snack at the wet bar that includes a sink, mini-fridge/ice maker, microwave, and cabinet storage. Get your heart rate going in the home gym, which includes a Peloton bike, a bench, and free weights. Outdoors, take a swim in the private pool which features a sun ledge and built-in seating. The poolside cabana includes an outdoor kitchen and bar area with a 60" outdoor TV and bar seating, a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, and gas grill. There is a ping-pong table, cornhole, and a putting green located outdoors as a continuation of the competitive fun from the rec room. A large four car garage includes an electric vehicle car charger and two electric overhead garage doors that allows for security and protection of your vehicles while staying at Barney.
