Located on the oceanfront in the Whalehead community of Corolla, this spacious home has room for large groups or reunions, and is well-equipped to make your vacation as carefree as possible. The backyard includes a private pool, ping-pong table, an outdoor bar, a hot tub on the dune deck with built-in seating around the outer perimeter, a firepit with seating, and your own private walkway to the beach. Indoors, kids and adults will find endless entertainment in the rec room with pool table and home theater with projection screen. Upstairs, the entire east wall of the great room is windows, showcasing spectacular ocean views, and providing a tranquil place to enjoy the company of family and friends. Whalehead is a popular community among vacationers for its proximity to shops and restaurants, activities including water sports, the Currituck Lighthouse, and the Corolla Adventure Park. It's also a short drive to the 4x4 beaches of Carova where you can see wild horses!

Updates for 2024: New granite countertop on poolside tiki bar and additional seating at the bar, new sofa and rug in rec room, three-season room converted to heated/air conditioned dining nook with new furniture, new great room furniture, refurbished dining room chairs, new lighting in the kitchen and dining room, extended pool decking, firepit added with outdoor seating, cornhole provided, updated landscaping with sod in front yard and pool area.
Seasonal Cabana Service: Service dates for the 2026 season are 05/02/2026 - 09/19/2026. This home receives beachside cabana & beach chair set-up services during your stay. This complimentary service includes one 10x10 cabana tent and six beach chairs. Set-up hours are 10am to 5pm daily (except check-in/check-out day), weather permitting. This service is not available for partial-week stays and is subject to local ordinances. Service provided by Farmdog Beach Services. Additional add-on services and other rentals are available upon request for an additional charge.
Pool: Heated by propane. Max. pool temp is 85 degrees.
Special Access Amenities: There is a ramp leading to the home and an elevator. One mid-level king offers a low-barrier shower and roll-under sink. Please note the pool is not wheelchair accessible. None of our homes are ADA compliant.

The theater includes seating for 12 and a large projection screen TV. A bedroom on this floor offers two double beds with a full shared bath across the hallway.
