We supply two towel sets per King/Queen/Double bed and one per Twin bed. Each towel set contains a bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth. Extra towel sets are available for rent, please call our office for more info.

Overview

Find the ultimate in tranquility and vacation serenity when you reserve Surf and Sound. This five bedroom soundfront home is located on a large lot in a quiet cul-de-sac, and offers a laid-back alternative for your next oceanfront vacation. A private dock makes for an amazing sunset locale, and a private pool and hot tub offer hours of relaxation. Modern, comfortable furnishings set a tone of relaxation which immediately makes you feel at home. Surf and Sound is located in the soundside community of Monteray Shores, which features two community piers for fishing and crabbing (license required in NC), biking and walking trails, a clubhouse with fitness center, pool, basketball, and tennis courts, and seasonal activities - plus, you're just north of the Timbuck II shopping center, with boutiques, dining options, grocery stores, watersports, and more. A short drive takes you to the Currituck Lighthouse and historic Whalehead Club, and guests can drive to beachfront parking or enjoy a leisurely stroll to the ocean.

Updates for 2025: New LVP flooring throughout mid-level, new outdoor furniture on decks and by pool.

TVs: All TVs are Smart TVs with Xumo. Cable access is available via the Spectrum app on the Smart TVs. Guests can use their own accounts to access Netflix, Hulu, etc.

Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2026 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2026 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.

Outdoor amenities are extensive in this home. The private walkway to the sound meanders through native fauna and offers built-in bench seating and stairs to the water. Enjoy the private saltwater pool, hot tub, grill station, picnic table, and outdoor shower. Inside, a rec room features a bumper pool table and wet bar with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a sink. Bedding includes one room with two twin beds. There is a shared full bath on this level. Two stereos sync up with speakers in the rec room, great room, top deck area, and pool deck.

We enjoyed our stay and the place. The pool is a great size and so relaxing as well as the hot tub. Loved having a dock to fish, crab, and paddleboard from. It's a perfect private, quiet, serene spot. Great sunsets. Great place and location. Enjoyed our stay.
