    Located on Roanoke Island in the town of Manteo, The North Carolina Aquarium makes a wonderful day trip from Nags Head or Kill Devil Hills. Exhibits include a myriad of interesting species that you might find in Eastern North Carolina: from the alligators and otters of “Wild Wetlands” to the graceful jellyfish of “Delicate Drifters.” There are even sharks and stingrays!
