The Duck Woods Country Club began in the 60s as the Outer Banks Recreation Association. Over time, they expanded and built the golf course in May 1967. The name wasn’t changed to Duck Woods Country Club until 1988, and since they’ve been able to offer outdoor activities to boot. From golf to tennis, pickleball to bocce ball, Duck Woods Country Club offers it. Their 18-hole championship course was designed by the renowned architect, Ellis Maples.
