      We supply two towel sets per King/Queen/Double bed and one per Twin bed. Each towel set contains a bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth. Extra towel sets are available for rent, please call our office for more info.

    Our signature welcome package of starter supplies in a reusable shopping tote will be waiting at your home with your check-in packet to help you settle in. The starter supplies include freshly-roasted coffee, dishwashing detergent, sponges, dish towels, dishcloths, potholders, and paper towels. Each bathroom will have a starter supply of toilet tissue and bath soap. A starter supply of laundry detergent will be located by the washer and dryer.

    You can rent just about anything you need for your vacation, from beach chairs to baby cribs. Carolina Designs Realty guests receive a discount on online orders with local outfitters Ocean Atlantic Rentals and Duck Village Outfitters.

    You may find beach chairs or pool toys left by a previous guest when you arrive; feel free to enjoy them, but please note they’re not guaranteed unless listed in your home’s amenities.

    Yes, the Outer Banks has grocery stores!

    The Outer Banks has several grocery stores and pharmacies, as well as a Walmart in Kitty Hawk and a Target in Kill Devil Hills. Harris Teeter has multiple locations (Corolla, Kitty Hawk, and Kill Devil Hills) as well as Food Lion (Corolla, Southern Shores, Kill Devil Hills, and Nags Head). Publix Super Market is located in Kill Devil Hills, and The Fresh Market is located in Nags Head.

    Outer Banks traffic and stores can be very crowded on Saturdays and Sundays during the warmer months, especially heading north towards Duck and Corolla. We recommend planning your grocery shopping trip accordingly. After check-in, you can receive grocery deliveries at your vacation home through services such as Delivery Genie and InstaCart, and some stores have grocery pickup options that can save you valuable vacation time.
