Oceanfront. Arriving at Beachwater North, your family will know that they have picked the perfect home for their vacation. Set on almost an acre of land, with Cape Hatteras National Park preserve and sound to your west, and the ocean to your east, South Nags Head is the perfect place to be if you want to get away from the high traffic areas and crowded beaches, and relive the feeling of years gone by.
This duplex underwent a massive renovation in 2009, combining the beauty of the old and the modern as well. Beachwater North provides approximately 3,000 sq. ft. of heated living area, allowing for both privacy and family time together.
Ground Floor: Covered parking and sitting area is under the entire home, for cars less than 82” high. A 65 sq ft outside shower with changing area, gas grill and basketball goal is provided. A walkway continues from under the house to a shared dune walk, ending at a lifeguarded beach, where you will find some of the whitest, finest sand in the OBX. With parking area underneath and an enclosed staircase to the first floor level, you never have to “brave” the elements.
All New First Floor: Full bathroom with glass block wall and rain head shower, 575 sq ft game room with glass card table, wet bar, mini-refrigerator, pool table, couch, private balcony for solitude, desk, wireless internet, flat screen TV, sliding door going out to oceanfront covered deck with picnic table and stairs going to the beach. Furnished deck on sound side as well.
Second Floor: Full bathroom, great room with sectional sofa, gas fireplace (available off season), 50” TV, CD player, large well stocked kitchen, refrigerator/icemaker, turbo jet dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven and electric griddle, counter eating for 3, dining room table by bay window, high chair, bedroom with queen bed, sound side screened in porch with eating/sitting area and hot tub overlooking Cape Hatteras Park preserve to view the most beautiful sunsets in the world, one small balcony for solitude, and one large partially covered ocean front deck with picnic table and thick cushioned chaise lounges.
Third Floor: Super capacity washer/dryer, full hallway bath, one bedroom with two double beds, one bedroom with queen bed, a 16’ x 20’ master bedroom with; sitting area, king size bed, his and her closets, private balcony overlooking the ocean, full master bath with mini refrigerator and coffee maker, sliding door that opens onto a private balcony for enjoying your morning coffee.
Special Features: All bedrooms and living areas have TVs, either part or full ocean view, ceiling fans. All bedrooms also have extra deep pillow top mattresses. All bathrooms are tiled and have new comfort high toilets. 5 private balconies/decks, 1 screened-in porch. All closets are cedar lined. Portacrib provided. 10 miles of wide walking and jogging paths right at the end of your driveway. Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach and Oregon Inlet are all within 7 miles to the south. Shops and restaurants are 3 to 4 miles to the north. Rental includes 2 free unlimited weekly use passes to the Outer Banks Fishing Pier, 1 mile to the north. Don’t worry about rain days on your vacation; rental also includes free use of YMCA which provides; free indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, full gym, racquetball courts, outdoor skate park, aerobic classes, fitness center, child watch while using facility, interactive zone, rock wall and babysitting service for a parents night out. Parking for 3 to 4. Maximum occupancy is 10. No RVs, camping trailers or any vehicle with a rated weight over 6000 pounds allowed. One quiet dog allowed. No smoking. Saturday
