Oceanside. VIEWS! Built in 2006, Sunset at Spyglass provides spectacular panoramic views of the sound, the ocean and the Duck area (on a clear day you can see all the way to the Wright Memorial bridge!) from one of the highest dune communities in Duck, Sea Ridge. The sunsets here are simply spectacular and the large lot gives you room to spread out! Each of the 5 bedrooms has access to the wrap around decks and porches. All bedrooms have large private baths, a TV and ceiling fan. A full size double sleep sofa in the rec room is available for extra sleeping room. Walk down the hill to the ocean or walk/bike a mile down the paved path to the Town of Duck.
TOP FLOOR (3rd level): Look at the views! A large great room with a vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan has a plasma TV, XM radio, iPod jack, DVD player, and is the main gathering area, which looks out onto the “sunset deck” to gather for evening sunsets (unobstructed sound view) or to watch the stars at night. A large sunny dining room, huge kitchen and a large screened porch with ceiling fan provide scenic and breezy spots for meals. The “Spyglass” bedroom completes the top floor, a king sized bedroom on the ocean side of the house with a large bath and soaking tub.
MID FLOOR (2nd level): Four bedrooms and the washer and dryer are located here. The “Sea Glass” (a view of the sound) and “Sand Dollar” are king bedrooms with huge tile showers, and the “Starfish” queen bedroom and the “Sailboat” kid’s room (containing bunk beds and a trundle bed) – all have access to the wrap around deck with chairs, rockers and a porch swing and a large hammock porch at the back of the house to get away from it all!
LOWER FLOOR (1st level): A large rec room with a pool table, 2 TVs, XM radio, a CD player, and a double sleep sofa opens to the pool area. A cabana bathroom with a shower off the rec room is accessible from the pool area outside. A cute “tiki” wet bar with a mini kitchen and an icemaker provides a place to eat and drink, and a place to make popcorn when you’re watching a movie in the cozy theater room (90” screen and two seating areas) off the rec room. Outside is a 14x30 pool, a hot tub for 7, and a gas grill, with tables, chairs/lounges, and an outdoor shower.
