Certain areas have been designated for launching canoes and kayaks. A gazebo and picnic shelter, housed on an area of rolling green is conveniently located in the center of the park. Those areas, along with the amphitheatre tucked into the natural surroundings, play host to various complementary musical, theatre and children’s events all summer long, as well as morning exercise programs.
