DESCRIPTION:The Fourth of July is a day defined by freedom\, fun\, firew
 orks\, and unforgettable memories\, and thereâ€™s no better place to cel
 ebrate than the Outer Banks. The excitement begins early. Over in Duck\,
  the annual Fourth of July Parade takes place on July 3rd\, featuring de
 corated golf carts\, colorful floats\, live music\, and plenty of red\, 
 white\, and blue spirit. The town of Corolla is holding its Independence
  Day celebration and fireworks on July 3rd in 2026 as well. On July 4th\
 , a visit to Island Farm in Manteo offers a step back in time. The farm 
 is a living history site that recreates life on Roanoke Island in the mi
 d-1800s. Later in the day\, downtown Manteo hosts more family-friendly I
 ndependence Day festivities.\n\nAs the sun begins to dip\, excitement bu
 ilds. Family and friends gather by Avalon Pier\, Nags Head Fishing Pier\
 , and the downtown Manteo waterfront for the eveningâ€™s fireworks displ
