Thank you for reserving one of our vacation rental homes. Two copies of your vacation rental agreement are enclosed. Please note the following important items referred in the agreement:

 

     ADVANCE PAYMENT DUE DATE  Please sign, initial if you decline vacation insurance and/or damage waiver, and return one copy along with your advance rental payment (or you may call us with your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) within 12 days of making your reservation.  If your advance rental payment is not received during this time, your reservation will be automatically cancelled without notice.

 

     BALANCE PAYMENT DUE DATE  Please return the balance payment (or call with Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) so that it reaches us at least 30 days before your arrival date.

 

     VACATION INSURANCE  We are pleased to offer and strongly recommend Protection Plus, our optional vacation insurance.  This insurance policy is your only means available to protect you from losses or damages resulting from loss or use of your vacation rental home due to a mandatory evacuation order.  A certificate of insurance that describes the benefits of Protection Plus is enclosed with this mailing. Please note that coverage for this insurance is valid only if the premium has been paid.  Your vacation insurance premium has been added to the payment due.  If you elect not to buy vacation insurance, please initial the agreement where indicated and subtract the amount from your advance rental payment.  For specific questions about coverage, please call 1-866-221-8080.

 

     LINENS AND TOWELS   All of your bed linens (except crib) will be provided and the beds will be made for your arrival.  We now offer the option to rent towels for $7 per set ($11 per sent for multiple week rentals), which includes a bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth. You can call us anytime to arrange for towel rental or simply bring towels from home.  Please bring your own beach towels.

 

     AMENITIES   All of our properties are provided with a start-up supply of face soap, toilet tissue, paper towels, dishwasher powder, dishwashing detergent, 2 kitchen towels, 2 dish clothes, 1 pot holder, laundry detergent and bag of freshly roasted coffee for your enjoyment.

 

     CHECK-IN   Carolina Designs Realty offers two check-in offices.  Directions to both offices are enclosed.  The Kitty Hawk office services check-ins for our homes in Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head.  This office is ONLY open for arrival dates between the first weekend in May and the last weekend in September; otherwise, check-in is at our main office in Duck.  Homes located in Southern Shores, Duck and Corolla are serviced by our Duck office all year.

 

     CHECK-IN  Time is 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM.
