IT'S ABOUT TIME vacation rental, Oceanside. Enjoy views of both the ocean and the sound from this redecorated Outer Banks beach home perched on the dunes above the charming village of Duck. The top floor cathedral ceiling living room opens onto decks on 3 sides where you’ll view lovely sunrises and sunsets. The large HD TV has Expanded Cable and a DVD player with a collection of DVDs. The dining room seats 8 and 2 outdoor tables seat 10 more. A crows nest office, well-equipped kitchen, powder room and one master bedroom with a private deck and Jacuzzi complete the top floor.
Three master bedrooms have queen beds. The fourth master bedroom has a daybed with trundle. A fifth bedroom with a pyramid bunk and a sixth bedroom with a queen share a bathroom. Every bedroom has a TV with built-in DVD and cable service. 4 bedrooms on the top 2 floors open onto decks with chaise lounges, chairs and 2 seat swings. 1 of the ground floor bedrooms opens onto the pool and doubles as a kids den with day bed and trundle, bathroom, refrigerator with icemaker, TV and a treasure chest of games, cards and puzzles.
This beach house is in the Schooner Ridge Association, so you have use of their private beach, 2 outdoor pools (one by the beach), an indoor pool, tennis and racquetball courts, exercise equipment, game room and quiet streets to ride bikes on. Park by the beach or use the beach wagon. All homes are painted to blend in with the natural environment and you may catch a late afternoon glimpse of our little neighborhood fox in the sea grasses and dunes. At the house enjoy your own lighted private pool and hot tub along with a basketball court, volleyball court, gas grill, outdoor shower, and water toys. You’ll have unlimited long distance phone service throughout the U.S. and Canada and wireless internet access from all rooms. Full size washer and dryer, highchair and 2 portacribs make for an easy family vacation.
