The telephone system in
your Outer Banks vacation home is set
up so that you as a guest may dial long distance telephone
calls direct, with the convenience of charging the calls to
a major credit card or a telephone company calling card at a
special low rate. To activate phone service for dialing long
distance calls during your stay, just enter your credit card
number and check out date one time (on your first long
distance phone call), then just dial 1 plus the number as
you would from home. The card will automatically deactivate
on the specified checkout date entered.
Rate Plans are based on operator assisted type calls.

Local Outer Banks and 800 calls are free of charge.

Dial 1 + Area Code + Number.
OTHER CALLS/BILLING
OPTIONS:
PREPAID CARDS purchased from an outside vendor may be used
for long distance dialing, but on each call you must access
that carrier by dialing the 1-800 (or 877 or 888) number on
the card.
OTHER LONG DISTANCE CARRIERS (AT&T, MCI, etc.) may be
accessed by dialing the "toll free" number on your calling
card for each long distance call. Use of this type of card
allows use of your own carrier at their rates. You must,
however, access that carrier by dialing the "toll free"
number on each call.
