The Villages at Ocean Hill, found in the northern Outer Banks, is adjacent to a trail that runs through the nature preserve and offers views of the historic Currituck Lighthouse. Today, Corolla is widely known for its large, upscale vacation rental homes, many with private pools and luxurious amenities such as in-house theaters, which overlook vast stretches of beach.
