Overview
Relax on the beach or splash around in the large, private pool at The Sandy Blue. This beautifully decorated vacation retreat boasts ocean views from the upper living level and deck, and offers special amenities to please everyone in your traveling group, including Smart TVs throughout. Spend your mornings barefoot walking the shoreline as the sun rises, take the afternoon to try your hand at a water sport you've been putting off, and enjoy your evenings from the large deck with ocean views. This newly updated home is convenient to The Currituck Golf Club, two large grocery stores, miniature golf, Corolla Adventure Park, and numerous resturants and retail shops.
Updates for 2026: New refrigerator, sink faucet, microwave, and rugs/mats in kitchen, new area rug in great room, exhaust fans added to all bathrooms, new light fixture in top floor king private bath, new sliding glass door in rec room that leads out to pool area.
Updates for 2025: Pool deck seating upgraded; fresh exterior paint; pool table refelted.
Updates for 2024: New desk chair at work station on stair landing; new stove in the kitchen; new grill; new outdoor seating in pool area including an umbrella for shade.
TVs: Samsung Smart TVs in all bedrooms with Spectrum app for live TV and streaming capability (guests log into their personal accounts).
Pool: Pool heated by heat pump. Ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 8-10 degrees above the ambient air temperature and has a maximum setting of 80 degrees. Example: If the ambient air is 65 degrees, the pool would heat to approximately 73-75 degrees.
Please Note: The fireplace is not available for guest use.
Community Note: Trailers, boats, and mobile homes/RVs are not allowed to be parked in the driveways of any Ocean Sands properties; parking is only permitted in the driveways of homes; golf carts and motorized carts/scooters/buggies are also prohibited in Ocean Sands.
2027 Holiday Week Check-In: Our offices will be closed on December 25, 2027 for the Christmas Day holiday. If your 2027 lease check-in date is on Christmas Day please note that we will work to make special arrangements to alter your check-in date.

The rec room features a pool table, wet bar with sink and built-in mini-fridge, an additional full-sized refrigerator, sofa seating, and a large flat screen TV. A bedroom furnished with a king bed is located on this level. The rec room and the king bedroom are both located close to the full shared bath. Laundry facilities and access to the covered carport complete this floor.
Doors lead to the outdoor area that includes a fully-fenced private pool and seperate hot tub. The pool is surrounded by a nice variety of poolside seating and lounge chairs. The greenery around the pool fence provides a uniquely private experience. While everyone swims, throw some burgers and hot dogs on the grills (two gas grills provided) for a carefree evening BBQ.
